Around the World in Christmas Parties – Vegas Special
Destination-themed Christmas parties are a great way to add a touch of the exotic or a sprinkling of sparkle to your company Christmas party.
This week we bring you a Vegas special, the city that never sleeps! But what makes a Christmas party Vegas-themed? See our top tips for bringing the bright lights of The Strip to your festive event…

Décor
It’s all about the sparkles and feathers. Think tall plumes of coloured ostrich feathers and a scattering of table gems. Miniature one-armed bandits make fun table centres.
Entertainment
No true Vegas-inspired party would be complete without a dazzling performance by a troupe of Vegas Showgirls. A glittering display of traditional dance and cabaret, the Showgirls would also make a great meet & greet on arrival or photo opportunity.
Casino tables are a great way of bringing people together in a fun and relaxed way – it’s often the quiet ones with all the luck! Blackjack, roulette and craps are great fun and money need not be involved – give all guests a handful of chips on arrival or perhaps invite guests to take part in the fun casino for £5 per person and donate all the proceeds to a chosen charity. Make things a little more interesting with a star prize for the best (or worst!) player of the evening.
Food
Anyone who has been lucky enough to visit Vegas for themselves must have fond memories of the epic all–you–can–eat buffets in the casinos across town. Imagines towers of crab claws and lobster, platters of cured meats and epic cheesecakes. A bountiful buffet is a great option for your Christmas party, it means guests don’t have to make menu pre-orders in advance of the party and there are plenty of dishes to keep everyone happy at dinner time.
Special Touches
If you have a few VIPs in your group, arrive in style in a classic stretched limo, to the flashing bulbs of a pack of fun paparazzi – a great way to capture a grand entrance to the grandest of celebrations.
